Fleurs Competing with South Africa's Best

Yesterday, Luke Fleurs and SuperSport United FC suited up for a friendly against Bafana Bafana, the South African National Football Team. The friendly‚ played behind closed doors over two 30-minute halves‚ formed part of preparations for Bafana’s 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier on Saturday (kickoff 3pm). Result: SuperSport FC 0-1 South Africa

“It was really an honor to play against the best players in South Africa,” Fleurs said of the experience.

SuperSport FC, currently sitting at 4th in the PSL, will play Polokwane City this Saturday in round one of the Telkom Knockout. Luke is Ubuntu’s first graduate to break into the PSL, South Africa’s Premier Soccer League. It is so exciting to see him competing at this level, playing against South Africa’s very best footballers.
